Follow the invitation

01 · The guest flow

From message to menu in four small steps.

ForkCast keeps guest access lightweight while the host stays in control of who can respond.

01

Open your invitation

Use the menu link your host sent by text, email, or group chat.

02

Enter the shared secret

The host’s secret keeps their gathering private and opens the right menu.

03

Choose what sounds good

Pick dishes and leave dietary notes so your host can plan with confidence.

04

Come back if plans change

Use the same invitation to update your choices before the host’s deadline.

02 · Why it feels easier

Less admin. More anticipation.

01

No account to manage

Your host’s invitation is your access. There is no guest sign-up or app download between you and the menu.

02

No dinner guesswork

See the choices before the gathering and tell your host what you would genuinely enjoy eating.

03

Your needs travel with the choice

Add dietary requirements or requests while you select, where the host can see them during planning.

03 · Good to know

Guest questions, answered clearly.

The short version: your host owns the gathering, and their invitation is the way in.

01Do I need a guest account?

No. The invitation link and shared secret from your host give you access to that menu without a sign-up or download.

02What if my invitation does not open?

Ask your host to confirm that you have the complete menu link and the current shared secret. Guest access belongs to a specific host menu, so there is no universal code-entry page.

03Can I change my choices later?

Yes, while the menu is still accepting responses. Return through the same invitation before the host’s stated deadline.

04Can I add dietary requirements?

You can add dietary requirements or special requests with your selections so the host sees them while planning. For serious allergies, contact the host directly as well.

05Can I browse without an invitation?

You can browse available host profiles and menus. A host’s invitation and shared secret are still required to unlock a private menu and submit choices.
